Many name changes! Boletus erythropus, as was but now Neoboletus luridiformis although there may be further changes. Along fp from carpark by Carmel chapel at the end of Graig, Burry Port.
There must be 40-50 fb's along 100yds or so . Trees are Oak, Willow and Hazel.
These two were firmly joined cap-to cap. Goes blue immediately on cutting or bruising ---- as do the pores when bruised.
Many of the older fb's were white due to attack by some other microfungus.
