Conocybe apala - Milky Conecap

Sorry that photo is so terrible!  A long hot dry spell so very few fungi of any sort.  A very small patch of this delicate grassland species, Conocybe apala, Milky Conecap.  Said to 'fruit' after rain and last less than 24 hrs. I like to see them as they are so delicate.  In America a common name is 'dunce cap' as it often has a rather conical cap.  Another 'conecap' common in grassland is C. tenera, Common Conecap which has a more conical, light brown cap.
Just a July contributin to the BLOG --- please don't abandon this !
